Otimos UL Quilt Size Guide – What Size Do I Need?
Why Quilt Length Matters
A quilt works by trapping warm air around your body while eliminating unnecessary weight. Choosing the correct length helps ensure full coverage from shoulders to feet, minimising drafts and maximising thermal efficiency.
A quilt that is too short may leave gaps around your shoulders or feet, reducing warmth and comfort. A quilt that is longer than necessary will still perform well but may add a small amount of extra weight and packed bulk.
How to Choose Your Size
We recommend selecting your quilt size based primarily on your height.
Refer to the size chart below to find the recommended quilt length for your height range.

Between Sizes?
If your height falls close to the upper limit of a size range, we generally recommend sizing up.
The additional length provides greater flexibility when sleeping in colder conditions and helps ensure full coverage when moving during the night.
Sleeping Position Considerations
Back Sleepers
Back sleepers can typically choose the recommended size based on height alone.
Side Sleepers
Side sleepers may benefit from sizing up if they regularly sleep with bent knees or move around during the night, as this can reduce the effective length available.
Active Sleepers
If you frequently change position throughout the night, choosing the larger size when between size ranges can help maintain coverage and reduce the chance of drafts.
